Canadian Brass, Chuck Daellenbach, Gene Pokorny, Arnold Jacob, Pat Sheridan, Jim Self, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra
Kevin is a Mechanical Engineer originally from Glenview, IL and is now residing a couple blocks away from Wrigley Field. Kevin received his BS of Engineering in Multidisciplinary Engineering with emphasis on Mechanics/Acoustics from Purdue University and just finished his Professional Engineer license!
Kevin studied tuba under Richard Schmitt who is a former trombone of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Lyric Opera of Chicago from the 1940s. While in college, Kevin played for the Purdue Symphonic Band which made its debut in 2006 at New York City’s famed Carnegie Hall as the Showcase Band at the New York Wind Band Festival. Not bad for a school with no School of Music. Kevin also plays with other ensembles in the area such as the Northshore Concert Band, Glenview Concert Band, and the Chicago Brass Band Players.
While not on the performance stage in high school and college, Kevin was an Illinois All-State & Purdue All-American ice hockey goaltender. Although there were many hockey colleges and semi-pro teams looking to sign him after high school, the Engineering degree seemed more beneficial in the long run. So he plays for a few hockey teams in the Chicagoland area including his Engineering firm. He is an Eagle Scout that is highly involved with Scouting/Youth Services and Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity at the National Level.
When there actually is free time, he enjoys biking or rollerblading on Lake Shore Drive, home improvements, golfing, climbing, hiking, fishing, canoeing, sailing, [insert outdoor activity here], and bumper pool.
