I listen to anything that has a great groove. Many genres have their own groove that makes it sound good. The musicians or genres that have impacted my playing: Alternative/Rock (Nirvana, Foo Fighters), Jazz (Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, Stefan Karlsson Trio), Classical (too many to name), Hip-Hop/R&B (The Roots, Matisyahu, other pop radio artists), and World (Caribbean, Latin/Brazilian, and African)
Jon Quiaoit graduated from Western Illinois University in 2007 with a Bachelors of Music Degree. He is currently the music teacher at Wood View Elementary and Jamie McGee Elementary Schools in Bolingbrook.
