Chicago Brass Band Auditions

We are currently accepting auditions for all sections of the band.

1. IMEA scales. Breath after the 8th note when necessary; at least quarter = 100. All brass instruments, with the exception of bass trombone, should use the treble clef scales provided.
2. Two contrasting own choice pieces, totalling 7-8 minutes. An electronic copy of your solo music is appreciated if the repertoire is outside the standard canon.
1. An excerpt, study/etude or solo that best demonstrates your skills on timpani and snare drum and mallet instrument
Rehearsals will be on Sunday evenings for the 2019-2020 season.
Substitute positions are always available.

Bb Baritone - 1 First, 1 Second

All brass instruments are notated in Treble Clef with the
exception of the Bass Trombone which is notated in Bass Clef
